Teach from your home studio or travel to student’s place for lessons.
First, you need to be able to teach music. Anyone can call themselves a teacher but what makes you an outstanding teacher requires you to have great violin, cello, viola, guitar, ukulele or piano teaching skills. These skills are usually acquired from your own music teacher while mastering the instrument or simply by your own teaching experience in this industry. As you go through many students, you will be exposed to different kinds of students and from there you will grow your own set of teaching skills.
You need to have excellent communication skills and top of that be responsible, dedicated and motivated.
You need to be patient when teaching beginners.
Be dedicated when passing your skills to another.
Follow up on student’s progress at all levels.
Make sure you are always on time for each lesson.
